Our story
Boutique Bunnies was founded in 2012 in the heart of Melbourne. Our story starts with a love of mini lops. We were owners before we were breeders - these special bunnies are an important part of our family. However, we realised that there was too much variation in the mini lop bunnies available on the market. Health conditions were common and aesthetics were inconsistent. All bunnies are "mini" when they are babies - how do you know they will stay that way? Often, you don't. Baby bunnies have pointy ears - how do you know they will "lop"? Again, you don't! This led us to breeding our own bunnies where we could be certain of their health and confident in their characteristics. After years of practice, we begun offering some bunnies for sale. Today, we have been operating for over a decade as Melbourne's premium mini lop breeder.
Our approach
We breed bunnies for health and aesthetics (in that order). Our bunnies are happy, adorably tiny, and have over-sized lopped ears. They come from a lineage of meticulously selected parents that is tracked across their pedigree certificate.
To our understanding, we are the only breeder offering this service.
Each Boutique Bunny comes with transition food, caring information, a birth certificate, baby photographs, and a pedigree certificate.
Our bunnies
Our last litter featured some of our most adorable bunnies yet. We are so proud of these seven little babies. With an incredible variety of colours, from blue to chocolate, tri-colour to black, we were not surprised how quickly they were adopted.
Unfortunately, we currently have no bunnies available.
Our promise
We are confident in the health of our bunnies. Each Boutique Bunny is vaccinated prior to sale and inspected by a qualified veterinary surgeon. We are active members of the Australian National Rabbit Council and comply with all national regulations.

We encourage all prospective buyers to come and visit the Boutique Bunnies homestead. You can chat with the founders and most importantly, play with the bunnies! Are bunnies have ample room to explore and are handled daily to ensure that they are well trained and friendly. We are located in the hear of Melbourne.
